Privacy Policy
Repair shops trust us with their customers, their devices and their repair history. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the limits we place on ourselves.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers two groups: repair shops that sign up and use the service (shop users), and the customers of those shops whose details are entered on job cards (end customers). For end-customer data, the repair shop decides what is recorded and why. We process that data on the shop's behalf.
What we collect from repair shops
- Signup details: name, work email, shop name, city, country, devices repaired, number of technicians and branches.
- Account data: staff logins, roles and activity needed to run the account and the audit log.
- Business records you create: job cards, parts stock, suppliers, quotes, invoices, warranties and reports.
- Billing details needed to charge for a paid plan.
What shops record about their customers
- Customer name and phone number, used to send repair updates.
- Device details such as model, IMEI or serial number, accessories received and the complaint.
- Condition photos of the device exterior and the signed repair consent.
What we never ask for
- Device passcodes, PINs or unlock patterns. The job card has no field for them.
- Personal content from inside a customer's device, such as photos, messages or contacts.
Shops advise customers to back up their data before a repair, and record consent before work starts.
How customer phone numbers are used
Customer phone numbers are used only to send repair updates: job numbers, quotes, approvals, ready-for-pick-up messages, invoices and warranty slips. We do not use them to market our own products, and we never sell them.
AI Fault Finder
AI fault suggestions are built from the repair records of the shop using them: device type, symptoms, confirmed faults and parts used. Customer names and phone numbers are not used to make suggestions. The AI does not read any data from the customer's device. Suggestions are hints; a qualified technician tests the device and decides.
Storage and security
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Access inside a shop account is controlled by roles set by the shop owner.
- Condition photos are stored privately and are visible only to the shop and, through the tracking link, to the customer of that job.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the service, such as hosting, email delivery and WhatsApp or SMS delivery, and only for that purpose. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
Retention
Shop records are kept while the account is active. When a shop closes its account, its data can be exported and is then deleted within 90 days, except where records must be kept longer by law.
Your choices
- Shop users can access, correct and export their data from the account at any time.
- End customers who want their details corrected or removed should contact the repair shop that recorded them. We help the shop act on the request.
- You can contact us through the contact page with any privacy question.
Website forms
Details sent through the signup and contact forms are used to set up your trial account, send login credentials and reply to your question. A simple security question protects these forms from automated spam.
